“This is a new bright star on the truly not empty string quartet sky of our day.” wrote the Süddeutsche Zeitung. This young Canadian quartet is characterised by its lean elasticity, flawless intonation and an outstanding sense of tonal balance.

Winner of the Banff Competition 2016 and assigned with the Cleveland Quartet award, the young Canadian Rolston Quartet startet a promising career. They were touring Canada, the US – including their Carnegie Hall debut – and Europe: Hamburg, Frankfurt, München, Zurich, Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, Cologne, Berlin, Leipzig, Heidelberg, Tel Aviv and the Lucerne Festival as well as the Wigmore Hall in London.
