Isidore String Quartet
Founded only a few years ago in New York, the quartet won the renowned Banff competition in 2022 and is now embarking on several European tours with concerts at the Edinburgh Festival, the Lucerne Festival and Amsterdam (Concertgebouw), Berlin (Konzerthaus), Linz (Brucknerhaus). ), Frankfurt (Alte Oper), Cologne (Philharmonie), Hamburg (Elbphilharmonie), Brussels (Flagey), Bonn (Beethovenhaus) and Stuttgart (Liederhalle).
The name Isidore reflects the ensemble’s musical connection to the Juilliard Quartet, which included legendary violinist Isidore Cohen.
